Brief | The project brief was to improve the functionality of an existing yard space. With a new “young” member of the family the client wanted a place that was a cozy and intimate retreat outside. We asked what if the garden could evolve as the family members grow to support a variety of functions from a kids birthday party, to a soccer field to an adult “cozy corner” retreat. The garden concept applies a secessional approach to allow the space to mature as the family grows.
